Chamfron Snow Goose - 23 Months Old

Also wearing a saddle for the first time and also totally unbothered!  Lovely photos Chantelle, so looking forward to seeing her ridden next year.

Chamfron Angel Dust - 22 Months Old

Wearing a saddle for the first time, Kayreen says she is very sensible, you show her something once and she's got it.  Looking very well indeed.

Foals and Envy!

Nice day here, the newest arrival had a quick spin out and Perdita continues to improve.  Her legs are looking good and she is dainty and elegant now rather than runty, incredible stop and turn on her.

We had a spin out to Andrew Parkers gallops, despite being only ten miles up the road its a really nice spot, we admired their grass, their ground and their lovely gallop... When I say admired, I mean went green with envy and got more depressed the closer to home we got.  What a nice set up they have.

Oor Eagle Eye Cherry Foals

Not the best photo but Cherry foaled at 11pm and another absolute belter from her.  A big strong leopard colt that chats away and has brilliant handle bar ears!

Chamfron Ojo de Tigre - 18 Days Old

Happy to say Tigger is now sold and will be heading to Edinburgh in October when he is weaned (and don't tell him... gelded!)

Milking Mares - A wee tip!!

If you have a mare to milk and you've got to the sore cracked hands and getting miserable stage this idea is worth a try!  Take a syringe and cut the end from it, then place the plunger in the wrong way.  Apply to the mares teat and gently pull back the plunger, watch the milk flow into the syringe with great relief!!  If you can get the foal to help, all the better!

Chamfron Perdita - 5 days old.

Photo from yesterday when she had ten minutes out in the paddock.  Now called Chamfron Perdita.

Bit Breezy!

Very very windy out there today so I sportingly left Mark to ride on his own!
