Caerlaverock WWF

We had an afternoon out at Caerlaverock to see the Barnacle Geese arriving over the Solway Coast. Of course the very contented rats living under the bird feeders made us smile!

Have you been to the Red Kite feeding station up near Laurieston? We went past on Sunday and there must have been at least 40 of the things flying around! (After I was excited to see three while driving along!)

Just googled and will try and get up there soon if we get a nice day, looks excellent. We are trying not to be such lazy swines and to go and see the things that are on the doorstep!! Cheers my dear! :-)
